Cleaning Toddler Room

Postby Airmid » Fri Jan 29, 2010 12:50 pm

I have a problem that my son doesn't always let us know when he's awake from naps. Most of the time we keep him downstairs now because of this, but when he is upstairs, he tends to wipe poop all over the walls and carpet. The walls are painted with water-based paint. We live in an apartment and know our deposit is already going to be taken away just for his room. But I was wondering if there was an easier way to clean the poop off the walls and carpet if this happens again. Unfortunately we can't really touch up with paint since we don't have the money to buy it, so we have to do what we can to keep it clean. Any information you can give me would be gratefully appreciated.

Hello Airmid,

One product you can try is the Mr. Clean Magic Eraser. This seems to work wonders on all sorts of things.

To use this slightly dampen it to clean the walls and carpet. We have not tried this method on carpets but some people claim it works on carpets for cleaning up their pets messes.

If you have a dollar store in your area, you may be able to find a generic brand.
