HELP!! - RED WINE ON MY WALLPAPER!!!

Postby wine_stain » Sun Jun 10, 2007 12:12 pm

Please help me!

Red wine was splatterd onto my cream coloured wallpaper by my husband and I'm very scared to try anything too harsh on the paper.

I tried white wine on a small bit of red wine (which was on an inconspicuous place on the paper) and it didnt have any effect. Water doesnt work either.

Please help I would be so greatful, they dont make the paper I have in the room anymore and I cant afford to re-decorate.

Many thanks,

Elaine

Red Wine issues

Postby mrscleannw » Tue Jul 24, 2007 12:42 pm

Hello and Welcome to Mrs. Clean's forum. I have been trying to research this issue with wallpaper manufacturers, but there is not much information available.

I do need to know if it is fabric type wallpaper, smooth or has a raised design/pattern, etc. The more specific, the better. Let me know and I will be able to give you a few ideas to try.
