Hi Iori,
I assume the products that foam are based on either the chemicals used in them, (such as hydrogen peroxide) or due to the mechanical action of a detergent being forced through a sprayer.

I found some recipes on the web with detailed instructions for making your own soap. (bar & liquid hand soap, Laundry detergent and dish washing liquid). I have included the recipes below, detailed instructions are found on the respective web site.

Laundry Soap
1 cup washing soda (I use Arm & Hammer)
1/2 cup borax (I use 20 Mule Team)
1 bar soap (I use whatever is cheap, in this case Pure & Natural)
Approximately 3 gallons water

HI, If you are going to clean your pots and pans, and even your floor, you can make your own homemade cleaner. Mix baking soda, vinegar and liquid detergent together to create a thick and creamy paste texture. This mixture will allow you to clean and scrub difficult areas, and your pots and pans as well.

Thanks,
