How to clean and eliminate odors

Postby ShirleyS » Tue Oct 21, 2008 7:03 pm

After being very diligent about keeping your house, car and garage clean, somehow there always seems to be some odor that just lingers on. The key is to find the source and address them with a specific solution. For years, I've used various air freshening sprays and even those plug in oils only realizing that part of the problem was coming from those air fresheners. I wasn't getting rid of the odors but instead just covering them up with fragrances that layered onto the smell.

After much research, I learned about activated carbon and the power of it's absorption capabilities. Then, a neighbor actually told me her secret - a product called FRIDGE IT activated carbon odor absorbers. She showed me around her house and these little unscented odor eliminators were hiding everywhere in her closets, under her kitchen and bathroom sinks, clipped onto trash cans, in cabinets and of course in the refrigerator. All this explained why her house didn't have that "smell" .

So, I don't clean any less but with the help of Fridge It odor absorbers, I'm much more satisfied with the absence of off odors. Finally an easy to use product that really does the job. I hand these out to lots of friends to try and everyone seems to love them. Some newly discovered uses are diaper pails, old musty drawers, hamster cage, closets, bait cooler (friends boat) and RV.

Pour baking soda down the drain and just a tiny bit of water to move it down. Let it stand and then rinse with very hot water. If water treatment facilities flush with hot water, don't discount it at home!
