How to remove inorganic stains. Inorganic stains come from material that is not from a living organism such as lime and mineral deposits, rust, soap scum, and stains from chemicals.

My three-year-old daughter got into my lipstick and got some on her sleeve. I don't have Dawn; I have a generic dishwash liquid that's a grease fighter. I poured the soap onto the lipstick and let it sit. After about 10 minutes I took a damp white cloth and gently rubbed the stain inward from all sides. It immediately began to come out of the fabric and after about five minutes of wiping was completely gone. Thanks so much for the technique; her shirt is brand new and I would have hated to see it ruined. :D
