Hi jrod,
Welcome to the Mrs. Clean Forum!

Paintballs are not actually filled with paint in the traditional sense, as the name implies. They are primarily made up of non-toxic, water soluble substances. It is designed to be easily washed out of your clothing, so with a little effort, it should come right out of the carpet.
Try these tricks:

If you have access to a carpet cleaner, try cleaning the spot with straight water. You may need to go over it a few times with clean, fresh water.

Dab the stain with a clean cloth that has been moistened in cool water, and then blot the excess moisture up with a clean, dry cloth. Repeat with clean cloths until the stain has been lifted.

You can also try a spot carpet cleaning product like Resolve Spot and Stain Carpet Cleaner. I have been very impressed with how well this product works on stubborn carpet stains. You can find it in most grocery and drug store chains.

Good Luck and let me know how it turns out!

hello
Oxyclean works best with hot water but it works really well with cold water as well. As for the stain, depends on the fabric and what the stain is. Oxyclean will get out blood with cold water. If the pink stain is because of dye transfer (washed a red sock with a load of whites, for example), I have gotten dye transfer out with powder Oxyclean in cold water, although I did have to wash them twice. I've never tried the liquid.

Thank you for your reply. I have tried the home carpet cleaning machine along with other stain lifters for the carpet and none have worked so far.

You can try the following method:-

Add some liquid detergent to wash cloth and rub it to create foam.
Scrub that stain with the soapy wash cloth. Use medium for pressure. For stubborn stains, scrub with a soft bristle toothbrush.
Rinse the soap from your wash cloth and wipe down the piece of plastic.

thanks,
with regards

You just need a water-brush for cleaning the stain on the carpet, the paint can be washed with water because it is naturally soluble. You just need pressure to finally remove the stain; you can use a detergent to thoroughly whiten the stained part. You just need to be patient until the stain is gone because it really needs effort.
