Remove red wine from painted ceiling

How would I remove red wine from a white textured painted ceiling? It is only about 4 drops. (Cork went in wine bottle while opening, splashing wine everywhere!)

You should have licked it off while still wet. LOL Waste not wont not. LOL. A mixture of 1 part white vinegar to 10 parts cold water should do the trick. Dab on, leave for 30 seconds and wipe off. But if the ceiling texture is more of and absorbent surface, you may need to let dwell a little longer to fully 'soften' the problem. Then dab dry. Do not wipe or rub.

Hi julieg,
Welcome to Mrs. Clean’s Forum!
If the advice posted by One eyed Kiwi didn’t solve your problem, you can try these tricks:
If you have a ‘popcorn’ ceiling, you may have a hard time getting to the drops with a wash rag or sponge. You could try dabbing the wine drops with a cotton swab that has been dipped in hydrogen peroxide.
If your ceiling is not that heavily textured, you can try a Magic Eraser from Mr. Clean. They really do work like magic on most stains!
Good Luck and let me know how it turns out!
