Vapor Steam Cleaners

I’m looking into a vapor steam cleaner for my mom for Christmas. Has anyone used the Ladybug? A handyman I used to clean my kitchen grout had one and it made the grout look like new. How long do these steamers last? Thanks.

Vapor Steam Cleaners

We have done some extensive reviews on vapor steam cleaners.

The Lady Bug is a good brand and does an excellent job. The unit is solid and feels like quality. The attachments are well made and well insulated. It is expensive- You don't mention the specific model you were looking at, but I reviewed the models with prices ranging from $1,000-$2000. You may find a steam cleaner from Sears or Electrolux that is as highly rated as the Lady Bug at less expense.

The sites I have looked at indicate that the steam cleaner comes with limited 1 year warranty and a 3 year boiler warranty. That seems a very short period of time, considering the expense of the unit and the frequency of normal use.

However they appear very sturdy, and should deliver you a few years of reliable cleaning.
