what do after you taken a shower?

Alright, you get out off the shower and the rug in the floor is wet. what do you do so it wont mold or stink. I layed down a dry towel also, but it seem to get soaked also. I thought about getting another dry towel and just soaked up all the water and put carpet power on it. Does this sound like a good idea? If you have a better idea plz do tell. Thank you take care.

Personally, If it's so moist or damp in the area already as to make me concerned about mold, I'd actually hang a towel over the shower glass or curtain rod and dry off in the shower before I step out of it.

A dry towel which can be frequently changed is also helpful to remove moisture, I would definitely not use carpet powder without vacuuming it up to remove completely.

A build up of damp carpet powder might cake up and cause you even more issues.

You can also help reduce mold in the bathroom by slightly cracking a window to keep the air circulating. Mold growth is encouraged by damp, warm and dark environments.

Good luck to you!

Hi
To me it seem like you are taking a shower with no shower curtain, or your shower curtain is not tucked in, while you are taking a shower, I recommend since your floor rug is getting wet, that you invest in a rubber bath mat and put that in front of the place were you are taking a shower, put a towel over the rubber bath math and that should keep your rug from getting wet, I also would recommend that you even get a longer shower curtain and a nice thick liner this will also help eliminate the possibility of you damanaging the floor. Good luck and hope this information is helpful

Even though we don't experience a lot of mold in our area outside the house, bathrooms are always a bad source. Keep your plastic shower curtain liner inside tub while showering and let it dry off before putting on outside of tub.
